Clay Targets

Clay targets — clay pigeons — are the disc that trap, skeet and sporting clays are shot at. We stock White Flyer clays by the case and by the pallet, in every standard type, and the throwers that launch them, from a hand thrower to a club’s automatic trap.

Which clay do I need? All of ours are 108 mm regulation size unless named otherwise; the difference is colour and what it is for.

• All Orange / Orange Top — the standard trap and skeet bird; easiest to see against trees and sky.
• Blackout / All Black — hard to see against a dark background; sporting clays and training.
• Pheasant, Midi, Mini, Battue, Rabbit — the sporting-clays presentations: smaller, faster, rolling.
• Night Shooting (glow) — for lit ranges after dark.

Which thrower? A hand thrower for a bag of clays; a foot-trap for two people; an automatic machine with a magazine for a club. Clays ship by the case; pallet orders for ranges and clubs are quoted by phone — call before you order by the case if you need more than ten.
