Plate Racks

A plate rack is a row of steel plates that fall when hit and reset without a walk downrange: six plates, six shots, a timer, and the drill every action-pistol shooter runs. We sell Challenge Targets’ commercial-grade revolving and shoot-to-reset racks and Revolution’s auto-resetting rack, all with 3/8" AR500 plates.
Which plate rack do I need?
- Shoot-to-reset: knock all six down, shoot the reset plate and they stand back up; no rope, no walk.
- Revolving: plates rotate over the bar and present again; the fastest cycle for group drills.
- Caliber: rated for handguns from 10 yards. Challenge’s racks are rated for rifles too, the revolving and shoot-to-reset racks from 100 yards; Revolution’s portable rack is built for handguns.
- How close can you shoot? Each maker’s minimum, from .22 to magnum rifle, in our steel target guide.
A rack is a fixture, not a consumable: the Challenge units are built for a commercial range’s daily use, and worn plates are replaced rather than the rack.
Racks ship freight. Ranges and clubs buying more than one get a quote; replacement plates are available.
