Clay Pigeon Throwers

Clay pigeon throwers, from a hand launcher for a bag of clays to an automatic trap that lets you shoot alone. Makers include Do-All Outdoors, Champion, Caldwell, MTM, SME and WingOne.

Which thrower?

• Hand throwers: one person throws, one shoots. The MTM EZ-3 and WingOne take less arm than a plain molded launcher.
• Manual traps: cocked by hand and fired with a pull string, staked in the ground or mounted on a tire; most throw singles and stacked doubles. The seat traps add a fold-down seat and a trailer-hitch mount, and throw 65 to 75 yards.
• Automatic traps: hold 30 to 80 clays, reset in 2.5 seconds and throw 55 to 75 yards, fired from a foot pedal or a wireless remote. The Do-All traps need a 12V deep-cycle battery, sold separately.
• Club machines: the Atlas AT-200 holds 200 targets and ships by freight; call us for a quote.

Add a wireless remote, or an auto wobbler that puts every clay on a different line. Clays to throw: White Flyer by the case, and by the pallet for clubs.
